VALLEY -- Mrs. Mollie B. Kilgore, 87, of Valley died Thursday, March 6, 2003 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Perry Duffey and Brother Kevin Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Valley.
Mrs. Kilgore is survived by two daughters, Patricia Anglin of Valley and Janice Russell of Opelika, Ala.; two sons, Jimmy W. (Mary) Kilgore and Butch Kilgore, both of Valley; three cousins, Dorothy Bailey and Ralph Hollis , both of Valley, and Bud Hollis of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Born July 26, 1915 in Chambers County, Mrs. Kilgore retired from WestPoint Stevens Riverdale Mill in 1977. She was a member of Friendship Christian Church. Mrs. Kilgore was preceded in death by her husband, H.G. Kilgore. She was the daughter of the late Katie Hollis Bailey and Lon Bailey.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to East Alabama Hospice in her memory.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 7 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
